A busy day at College of the Ozarks as the Baseball and Basketball teams were in action.

The Baseball team squared off against 21st ranked Central Methodist in a last minute switch in the schedule when the team originally scheduled to make the trip, Doane of Nebraska, could not make it. Central Methodist grabbed both games of the doubleheader winning the opener 7-3 then the nightcap 2-0. The second game was a pitching dual with C of O ace Collin Thrasher taking the loss despite scattering three hits in going the distance.

Meanwhile, the Basketball teams fared better as they each got a win over Haskell Indian Nations.

The Lady Bobcats won 75-61 with Cass Johnson having another big game scoring 24 points to lead the later Bobcats with Abby Oliver adding 22. Kelsie Cleeton had a double-double scoring 12 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Cleeton also said a program mark for assists with the nine she dished out during the game.

The Bobcats also got a win over Haskell using hot shooting to roll to the 87-60 win. The Bobcats shot 55% for the game with Heath Carmichael leading the way with 24 points, all from three point range. Brandt Cochran added 18 and scored his 1000th career point during the game.
