A few tickets remain for the 2019 S. Truett Cathy Poverty Summit this Friday at College of the Ozarks.
Nationally known speakers will provide inspiration and the backdrop for area educators, business leaders, and community members to learn and share concerns and experiences while a panel of area practitioners will present the current state of poverty initiatives in Stone and Taney counties. The ultimate goal is to gather input from a wide cross section of stakeholders in a guided “community conversation,” which will serve as the kick-off of a numerous small group discussions during 2019.
The full day option including lunch is sold out, but a few morning-only tickets are available for $10. The registration deadline is today. To register, visit http://www.cofo.edu/poverty.
