Many areas of the Lakes Region in Missouri and Arkansas experience the first accumulating snow fall in the region with Saturday’s Storm passing through the Ozarks.

Snow Fall amounts reported to the National Weather Service ranged from a half to an inch and a half in most areas with a report of around two inches of snow in the Harrison Area. There was also reports of Pea Size Hail in the Harrison area early Saturday Morning with showers and thunderstorms that preceded the snow.

Several roads in the region were snow covered for a time with many roads still retaining Ice Patches Sunday Morning before the sun melted most of that away.

Windy conditions will persist today with Wind Advisories in effect for several counties with another chance of rain Tuesday Afternoon possible mixed with snow Tuesday night until early Wednesday Morning with no more than a light amount of accumulation expected according to the National Weather Service.
