Neosho Takes Branson Wrestling Tournament Title

Branson High School’s Wrestling Tournament is among the top tournaments in the area every season bringing together teams from around the around the region from Missouri and Arkansas.

Neosho takes home the team title as they won four weight classes in outpointing Monett for the championship. Bolivar, Smithville, and Bentonville round out the top five in the team competition.

Lakes area schools Branson, Reeds Spring, and Hollister finishes 9th, 10th, and 15th in the team competition with each school placing wrestlers in the top three.

Clayton Johnson of Reeds Spring took home the lone Lakes Area Championship claiming 1st in the 170 Weight Class while Hollister’s Dylan Barber claimed a second place finish at 285. Three Branson Wrestlers finished third in their respective Weight Classes, Christian Cartright (120), Caden Lorenz (138), Max Petruccelli  (182).
