The Missouri Highway Patrol reports a pair of single vehicle accidents late Saturday Night and early Sunday Morning in the Lakes Region.
The first accident happened North of Carr Lane on Highway 39 in Stone County when a vehicle driven by Colton Finch, 22, of Shell Knob was traveling southbound and left the roadway overturning several times and ejected Finch from the Vehicle.
Finch sustained serious injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
The other accident occurred around 3:30 Sunday Morning on Round Mountain Road in northern Taney County when a UTV traveling too fast for the road conditions began to skid and slid and eventually ran off the right side of the road.
The driver of the UTV, 53-year-old Larry Smith of Walnut Shade, sustained the serious injuries in the crash and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
