Lt. Bruce Belin with Billings PD says Mark Allen Mitchell, 57, was last seen around 9:45 a.m. after pumping gas in Springfield.

Lt. Belin tells KOLR10 that Mitchell, who lives in Highlandville, was last seen at 9:45 Thursday morning at the Kum & Go on Campbell and Republic Road in Springfield.

He was supposed to meet with family after getting gas but never showed up.

Mitchell’s truck is missing as well, which is a 2000 or 2001 Maroon Dodge Ram Dually regular bed, no tailgate with a brush guard and a chrome fuel tank in the bed of the truck. (Stock image below)

He was last seen wearing a brown Carhartt jacket, blue jeans, a cap, and boots.

Mitchell is listed as a missing person in Springfield, but Lt. Belin says Mitchell’s cell phone was found in the middle of the highway 60 in Billings this afternoon.

Lt. Belin says he is worried about Mitchell, who he described as a very able-minded person, and says this “isn’t like him”.

Mitchell is the father-in-law of Clever Mayor Jarred King.
