Fire Breaks Out on Theater Roof

Branson Firefighters finish off their New Year’s Day fighting a fire that broke out on the roof of the God and Country Theater on Highway 76.

A post on the Branson Professional Firefighters Local 152 Facebook page indicates several units along with Branson Police and Taney County Ambulance responded around 11:40 Tuesday Night to the theater with thick black smoke being seen from several blocks away. The fire was quickly located on the roof where an HVAC Unit had burned to the roofing material.

The fire was quickly put out and did not spread to other parts of the theater.
