Ezekiel Romero was due to be a Christmas Eve baby but he became Cox Branson’s New Year’s baby instead.
He was born Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 7:27 a.m., making him the first baby born at the medical center in 2019. Proud parents Michel and Audrey Romero of Branson say they’re so excited to start the new year as a family of four.
“We can’t wait to see big brother Elijah with the baby,” Audrey says. “We all have so much love to share for this little guy.”
Ezekiel weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. Hospital staff surprised the family with a gift basket, which included clothes, diapers, stuffed animals, nursery decorations and even some bubble gum for big brother.
