From Ozark Mountain Media Group

Ozark Mountain Media Group announces a new Classic Country Station as of today, KHOZ AM 900 and 94.9 FM will become Bootz. Country with a heart.

The station will feature a wide selection of Classic Country mainly from the 80’s and 90’s but will also pick up songs from the 70’s and occasionally older songs.

Lisa Johnson from KHOZ and sister station 1029 the Z says, “With the popularity of our long running Saturday Classic Show on the Z with Bill Cassaday plus the positive feedback when we started featuring some older songs on the Z Regular Playlists, OMMG President Paul Coates thought the time would be right to feature the music on a regular basis and decided  to make the move on KHOZ”.

While the format changes, KHOZ’s commitment to the community has not as the station will continue to present the long running Party Line Program from 9-10 each weekday with Bill Cassaday, who will now host a daily morning show on KHOZ that will start at 6:00.

“Part of the Morning Show and Party Line will be to invite people from Harrison and other surrounding communities to come by the program to talk about what’s going on in their areas,” Cassaday says.

OMMG Radio Personalities Coleman Taylor and Matt Duncan will also host regular programs on Bootz Country.

KHOZ will continue to feature local news and weather as well as news from CBS and Arkansas Radio Network and will continue to be the home for Arkansas Razorback Basketball.

Sister Station 1029 the Z will continue to play the best of today’s country.
