Two people are injured in separate accidents early Saturday Morning in the Lakes Region.

The first accident occurred around 2:15 when a vehicle driven by 34 year old Donny Aydellot of Reeds Spring ran off the left side of Highway 65 around the 4.8 Mile Marker, started sliding, then returned to the roadway before overturning.

Aydellot sustained serious injuries and was taken by Taney County Ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.

Just over an hour and half later, around 3:50 am, an accident took place in Stone County on Highway 265 northeast of Indian Point Road when a vehicle driven by Anthony La Grand-Perez of Kimberling City ran off the road and struck two trees.

La Grand-Perez sustained minor injuries and was treated at Cox Hospital Branson.
