Still Time to Donate Though Salvation Army Red Kettles Are Put Up For Season

by: Scott McCaulley

While Christmas Eve marked the end to the Salvation Army Red Kettle On-Site Campaign Collections for 2018, there is still time to take part in the fundraising effort for this year.

Linda McCormick, Captain of the Salvation Army Chapter in Branson, visited Scott McCaulley on the Janet and Friends Program on KRZK Monday Morning and says that checks dropped off at the Salvation Army location in Branson Thursday or Friday of this week or mailed to the Salvation Army can be counted as part of the total for the 2018 Campaign that is the major fundraiser for all Salvation Army Operations during the year.

As of Monday Morning according to Captain McCormick, this year’s campaign had collected around $82,000 with their 2018 Goal being $100,000.

The Salvation Army Branson location is on 1114 Stanley Street just off the intersection with 76 Country Music Blvd.
