Tanger Outlets Branson is honored to have raised $45,681.34 for local non-profit, Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks (BCFO) and has made an annual donation of $1,000 each to Branson Fire and Rescue, Branson Police Department, and Taney County Ambulance District.
Funds were raised for BCFO through the Tanger PinkStyle Campaign, the 10th Annual TangerFit 5K Run/Walk and Silent Auction, and the Tanger Couples Classic Tournament at Ledgestone Golf Club. The Tanger PinkStyle Campaign commits funds to both the Breast Cancer Research Foundation on a national level and locally to BCFO through the sale of Pink Cards. For a $10 donation, individuals received a multi-use 25% off coupon valid at participating stores the entire month of October.
The 10th Annual TangerFit 5K and Silent Auction and Couples Classic Tournament together raised over $18,000. The 5K was sponsored by many local businesses including by CoxHealth, Branson Tri-Lakes Newspaper, Branson Visitor TV, and Legacy Construction Services LLC, who ensured a very successful event.
BCFO offers personal support and comfort to friends and neighbors who have been affected by breast cancer. They provide assistance in real and practical ways, through support networks, mentoring programs, resources for breast cancer awareness, diagnosis and treatment and more. Additional services include free mammography screenings, free lymphedema garments, and financial assistance just to name a few.
