Two Harrison Men face charges after a vehicle and foot pursuit Wednesday led to the discover of fake money.
52-year-old Paul Ledkins and 27-year-old Jamie Wise were arrested after an employee at Sonic told police Ledkins tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill then left in a vehicle when the bill was refused. Officers spotted the vehicle five minutes later and attempted to pull it over but a pursuit ensued with Ledkins throwing something out the vehicle window. Eventually the car went into a ditch with both men fleeing on foot before being apprehended.
Officers recovered the object thrown out the window which was a wad of counterfeit money.
Both men are facing several charges including forgery, fleeing, and drug possession charges and are currently locked up in the Boone County Jail.
