Newton County Sheriff-elect Glenn Wheeler said Bradlee Glen Kilgore was found deceased late Tuesday evening near Low Gap.

Wheeler said Kilgore was near his home in a wooded area.

Investigators from the Newton County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police and the Newton County Coroner’s Office are involved.

“Our hearts go out to Glen’s family. He was loved by all those who knew him and, by all accounts, was simply a good person,” Wheeler said.

Wheeler said Kilgore’s next of kin has been notified and the investigation is ongoing.

Kilgore was last seen Sunday, December 16th at around 2 p.m. near Low Gap.
