Today begins the third full week in the search for John and Amy Villines who have been missing since their SUV was swept away off of Highland Street during Flash Flooding in the Harrison Area on November 30.

Justice of the Peace Judge Glenn Redding posts on his Facebook Page late last week that the Harrison City Council had voted to continue to fund the draining and cleaning of Lake Harrison to aid in the search while Boone County Judge Robert Hathaway sent a resolution to Governor Asa Hutchinson, asking for additional funding to aid in the search.

While the organized searches have been scaled back, officials and volunteers continue searching areas around the lake and Crooked Creek in hopes of finding the Villines couple.
