Sunday Afternoon Accident Injures Five, One Seriously

Five people are injured, one seriously, in a three vehicle crash late Sunday afternoon on Highway 65 three miles south of Hollister.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports a car driven by Holly Titman of Branson attempted to back onto the highway when she went into the path of vehicle driven by Michael Cronin of Kirbyville. After impact, Titman’s vehicle overturned, struck a road sign then hit a vehicle driven by Richard Vernatti of Ozark.

A man from the country of Peru who was a passenger in Titman’s vehicle, 24-year-old Gonzalo Eguren-Ramierz, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment. Titman along with Cronin and two passengers in his vehicle, Terresa Cronin and Brocklynn Bartlett all of Kirbyville, sustained minor to moderate injuries and were treated at Cox Hospital Branson.
