More resources and being utilized as the search for John and Amy Villines is starting Day 11.
Justice of the Peace Judge Glenn Redding shared the complete update on his Facebook page which is posted below:
Monday, December 10, 2018. Arkansas Game and Fish brought in dive teams that dove several deep holes in the creek. Ground teams searched areas downstream. 2 excavators were used downstream of Lake Harrison to clean out areas of heavy debris. Kayaks floated designated areas of the creek.
The Boone County Search and Rescue Team will continue searching specific areas tomorrow, Tuesday, December 11. We have 4 kayaks scheduled for tomorrow at 8:00 am and will take more if we can get them.
Ground search volunteers are asked to bring rakes or hoes with them in the morning. We will put together ground teams at 8:00 am. Please check in at the Command Post located at 400 East Prospect Ave., Harrison, Arkansas.
Thank you to all volunteers and the Red Cross for assisting in our search for John and Amy Villines. Please keep them and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
