Search Continues for Missing People Swept Away By Flood Waters

by: Scott McCaulley

The search will continue today for two people still missing after their vehicle was swept away by flood waters during heavy rain Friday evening.

Harrison Fire Battalion Chief Roger Edwards tells our Media Partners KOLR-10 Ozarks First that the couple was inside a SUV when it was washed off Highland Street in Harrison and into Crooked Creek Friday Night.

Search crews have worked throughout the weekend searching both Crooked Creek and Lake Harrison and while the vehicle was located the two people remain missing.

Crews will continue to drag the creek today.
