Country Music Star Roy Clark was remembered in funeral services Wednesday in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The country music legend’s funeral was open to the public.
Clark began his music career as a young teen. He also gained popularity as former host of the long-running TV series “Hee Haw” as well as being the owner of the Roy Clark Celebrity Theater in Branson that brought many other stars to Branson for the first time. Several Branson entertainers were among those present at the service.
Clark’s publicist says he died of complications from pneumonia last Thursday at his Tulsa home.
He’s survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara. Clark was 85.
