As the Holiday Weekend approaches, the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks reports through a Press Release that several blood types are low.

The CBCO, which serves over 40 hospitals in Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas, currently has less than a one day supply of negative blood types AB, B, and O Chris Pilgrim, who goes on to say in the release that lower than normal response in the past few weeks due in part to the early arrival of winter weather in some areas.

The Regional Blood Donation Centers will close at 1:00 on Wednesday and be closed for the Holiday weekend but will reopen for normal hours next Monday with several Mobile Blood Drives scheduled in the region over the next few weeks.
