The Harrison Goblins got a big win in the second round of the Arkansas 5A Playoffs Friday night beating Wynne 49-14 at FS Garrison Stadium.

While the win ended up big, it took a while to get their as the Goblins only led 21-14 at halftime. The Goblins had jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead but the Yellowjackets outscored the Goblins 14-7 in the second quarter including an interception return for touchdown in the final minute to close the gap to seven.

The third quarter was scoreless until the final minute when the Goblins turned all the momentum in their direction by scoring a touchdown then on the next possession, Goblin Colton Shaver intercepts a pass near mid-field which the Goblins convert to points early in the fourth quarter and roll to the win from their.

Goblin Quarterback Ben McDonald had an 80 TD Pass to Shaver in the first half to go with a pair of Gabe Huskey Touchdowns with Huskey adding two more scores and McDonald running in for a score in the second half. The other Goblin Touchdown was scored by Cole Keylon while Maxwell Payne was perfect on extra points.

The Goblins will hit the road for the first time in the playoffs next Friday as they will play at Pulaski Academy in the 5A Semi-Finals. PA was a 58-8 winner over McClellan in second round action Friday Night.
