The Lady Bobcats have a very tough time pulling away from Bellevue in the final round of the Coke Classic at the Keeter Athletic Complex as the Lady Bobcats pulled out an 84-73 win. The Lady Bobcats trailed much of the game and by six as late as the middle of the third quarter thanks to the hot shooting by the Lady Bruins but the home team got some momentum by going on a 21-4 run and the visitors never got any closer than eight points the rest of the way. Cassidy Johnson led in scoring with 20 points despite spending much of the game on the bench with foul trouble.
Meanwhile the Bobcats continue their strong play winning their fourth game in five outings with a win 104-94 at Mid-America Christian in Oklahoma City. The Bobcats got a big game from Brandt Cochran who scored 40 points to lead C of O.
The North Arkansas College teams both completed sweeps in Classics Saturday as the Pioneers at home ran by the Junior Varsity team from Central Baptist 124-64 while the Lady Pioneers completed a perfect weekend at the Crowder Classic in Neosho with a 58-43 win over Coffeyville Community College.
