by: Scott McCaulley

With a major drop in temperature going into tonight, the Salvation Army in Branson is opening their doors to people who need a place out of the cold.

Captain Linda McCormick with the Salvation Army says the doors will open at their facility at 1114 Stanley at 6:00 this evening for those that need a warm place to stay due to the falling temperatures.

After a low this morning of 34 Degrees, temperatures are expected to fall into the Teens in many areas tonight. Freeze Warnings are in effect for most counties in the region in both Arkansas and Missouri.
