With the exception of Harrison who is off this week and Reeds Spring who is on the road, the other area High School Football teams have Home Games this week.

Hollister is the first area school to have their Homecoming Game as they entertain McDonald County. After their opening week win over East Newton, the Tigers have back to back losses to Lamar and Springfield Catholic while McDonald County also has a win over East Newton as part of their 2-1 record for the season. Kick-off is at 7:00 with Homecoming Ceremonies to take place prior to Kick-off. The Game can be heard on 98.1 FM and AM 1220 KCAX.

Branson has the first of two straight home games tonight as they host undefeated and Class 4 Top Ranked Webb City. While the Pirates have won their road games at Republic and Ozark, they dropped their home opener against Neosho two weeks ago while the Cardinals beat Neosho last week and have wins over Carl Junction and Joplin. Tonight’s game can be heard on 106.3 KRZK.

Forsyth is at home searching for win number one as they host undefeated District Opponent Fair Grove. After opening at home with a loss to Skyline, the Panthers have lost on the road the last two weeks to Lighthouse Christian and Greenfield while the Eagles have a win over Skyline as one of their three wins. Tonight’s game kicks-off at 7:00 with a replay of the game to be heard Saturday at 9:00 AM on 98.1 FM and AM 1220 KCAX.

The final two area teams at home are Berryville and Green Forest as they Bobcats look for win number two of the year as they host Yellville Summit. After a week one win over West Fork, the Bobcats  dropped their home opener last week to Huntsville. West Fork meanwhile is in Green Forest tonight to take on the Tigers, who are seeking their first win of the season.

The only area team on the road is facing a key contest tonight as Reeds Spring plays at Mount Vernon in a match-up of the third and second place teams in the District. Both teams are undefeated with the second place Mountaineers and third place Wolves both trailing Cassville in the area Class 3 District Standings. Tonight’s game can be heard on MY 100.1 KOMC.
