Several People Injured in Sunday Traffic Accidents

A trio of accidents in the Lakes Region on Sunday:

A Forsyth teenager sustains moderate injuries in a single vehicle crash north of Branson.  The Missouri Highway Patrol reports a vehicle driven by 16 year old Kyle Sanders of Forsyth ran off the roadway and struck a rock bluff on the on ramp from Highway 465 to Highway 65 around 6:35 Sunday Evening. Sanders was transported to Cox Hospital Branson for treatment of his injuries.

Around 6:50 Sunday Evening, a two car accident in Stone County sends a man from Lee’s Summit, Mo. to Cox Hospital Branson. Troopers report the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Richard Prather was stopped on Highway 265 near Stormy Point Road waiting to make a left turn when his vehicle was rear-ended by a car driven by Holly Buckner, 22, of Reeds Spring. Prather sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Finally, two people from St. Joseph, Mo. were injured in a single vehicle crash in Southern Taney County. The accident occurred at a residence on Bridgeview Drive in Ridgedale at 7:00 Sunday evening when a car driven by 74 year old Dennis Martinez drove off a driveway on struck several trees and a large rock. The driver sustained minor injuries while a passenger in the vehicle, 55 year old Dennis Martinez, sustained moderate injuries with both people being taken to Cox Hospital in Branson for treatment.
