Wind and heavy rains whipped through the Branson lakes region late Wednesday afternoon, flipping a boat dock on Indian Point. There were no injuries reported. Most of the boats broke free of their moorings and were not damaged, however the dock was destroyed. The national weather service radar indicated the storm passed over Indian Point around around 5 p.m. Elsewhere, there were reports of downed trees and limbs along with was some urban flooding on Branson streets. The Branson airport reported nearly 2 and a half inches of rainfall. More scattered storms are possible over the weekend.
