Former Stone County Deputy Sentenced in Fatal Hit and Run

A former Stone County deputy who pleaded guilty to a fatal hit and run last year has learned his fate.

Shawn Bouley, 41, has been sentenced to 120 days in jail and five years of supervised probation, in connection to the Jan. 22, 2017 accident in which Bouley admitted to police he was drunk when he crashed into a vehicle stopped at the intersections of National Avenue and Cherry Street and then left the scene.

Bradley Bizzle, 45, of Springfield, was killed in the accident, according to police.
