For people wondering if Arkansas Head Baseball Coach Dave Van Horn and members of his staff have spent a lot of time reflecting on the Razorbacks run in the College World Series in June, Van Horn says there has not been much time for anything but work.
Van Horn delivered that message and other comments to a gathering of the Harrison Area Razorback Club Tuesday evening at the Quality Inn.
Meeting with members of the media before the speech, Van Horn said he and his coaching staff have been busy recruiting to replace the nine players leaving the program after being drafted by Major League Baseball Teams.
Van Horn did make public for the first time that he and university officials have agreed to a contract extension which will keep him in Fayettville until at least 2023. Van Horn also talked about conversations he and Athletic Director Hunter Yurachek have had about upgrading facilities including improvements to Baum Stadium.
