Area Firefighters had their hands full on Sunday battling three different blazes:
It took Branson Firefighters more than two hours to contain an RV fire in the Branson Landing parking lot Sunday afternoon. Crews found the RV engulfed in flames near the Lake Taneycomo bridge. A vehicle being towed behind the RV was disconnected and moved away from the burning RV, which forced a stretch of Branson Landing Blvd to be shutdown as crews worked to bring the blaze under control, Branson fire officials said.
Meanwhile, the Central Taney County Fire Protection District was busy with two camper fires Sunday afternoon on Creed Road. Crews found the trailers engulfed in flames and reported that two other structures and a car were threatened by the blaze burning near Forsyth. Both campers were destroyed in the fire and one motorhome had a small amount of damage. Investigators said the fire was sparked as a result of one of the residents burning trash in the back yard.
