Fans of Frontier Airlines are prepared for take-off! The Branson Airport and community welcomed a full flight of passengers today from the Mile High City to the Ozarks as the airline begins new service to the Branson Airport (BKG). Frontier Airlines service to Denver, Colorado provides for connectivity throughout their network to many destinations beyond.
Since Frontier is known for their iconic tail animals, the Branson Airport threw an Ozark Mountain “Tail” Gate party with several Branson entertainers, food, games and a roundtrip airfare contest.
“We are pleased to return to Branson and introduce a new and more affordable way to travel to and from the area,” said Sean Morahan, Director – Stations, for Frontier Airlines. “We’re offering incredibly low fares and a reliable, friendly service that allows people to customize the travel experience to their needs and budget. This empowers more people than ever before to fly. It’s what our Low Fares Done Right philosophy is all about.”
Frontier is the only airline to offer ultra-low fares to and from Denver which provides visitors the ability to conveniently and affordably get to Branson from Denver and beyond which will appeal to Branson’s tourism market.
“It is an honor to welcome Frontier Airlines and the first customers to BKG,” said Jeff Bourk, Branson Airport Executive Director. “We know people want to come here from all over the United States, but without good, affordable air service people need to work really hard to get here. Frontier Airlines changed that today.”
Frontier flies one the youngest fleet in the industry of Airbus A320 Family jet aircraft. With nearly 200 more new aircraft on order, Frontier will continue to grow and modernize its fleet to deliver on the mission to provide affordable travel across America.
Branson Airport is also served by VIA Airlines nonstop service to Austin (AUS) and Silver Airways with nonstop service to Chicago (ORD), Houston (IAH) and New Orleans (MSY) starting August 30th.
