Members of the Veterans and Military Coalition of the Ozarks along with the American Legion Post 220 of Branson/Hollister will again host a free mobility device repair day. The event is planned for Friday, May 18th at the Faith Lutheran Church in Branson. Organizer Dub White says this is the third year for the repair day. In the previous two sessions, nearly 200 devices have been restored. Anything from walkers to scooters to mobility chairs can be worked on free of charge. The only partS not included are replacement batteries. However, White says their organization will have them available for purchase at reduce rates.
Residents from Branson to Forsyth to Harrison, and the surrounding area are welcome to bring in their mobility devices to have them tuned to peak performance.
Walk-ins are welcome, however you may schedule an appoint time if you prefer. That can be done by leaving a message at the American Legion Post 220. Contact information:
