SPARTA, Mo. – Route T near Sparta and Route VV near Rogersville are scheduled for resurfacing beginning next week.
Drivers can expect one-lane traffic with crews and equipment on the roadways. Flaggers and pilot vehicles will lead drivers through the work zones.
The work begins Monday, April 23rd on Route VV between Highway 60 in Rogersville and Christian County Route U south of Rogersville. Crews will be adding two-foot wide shoulders and rumble strips to this three-mile section.
After this project is completed, crews will begin resurfacing a ten-mile section of Route T between Highway 125 at Oldfield and Route UU near the Douglas County line.
Journagan Construction of Springfield is handling both projects for a low-bid amount of 685-thousand dollars.
The work is to be completed by November 1st per contract, however crews expect to be done by mid-May, barring construction or weather delays.
