MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – A man from Mountain Home who police say beat up his 93-year-old grandfather, a pregnant woman, and a jail attendant is deemed incompetent for trial.

According to the State Mental Health Facility, 21-year-old Blaze Forrester lacks the fitness to proceed in his case, at this time. He was facing five counts of battery in the second degree.

In May of 2017, Mountain Home Police Officers responded to a domestic issue where Forrester was accused of punching his grandfather in the face and head. Days later while behind bars, Forrester allegedly hit a jail officer in the back of the head.

While out of bond in December, Forrester was accused of an alleged battery incident with a pregnant woman at a local movie theater. The woman reported he punched her in the face.

Forrester will be committed to the custody of the Department of Human Services for detention, care and treatment until he is fit to go on with the case.
