AVA, Mo. – Route AP in Douglas and Howell Counties is being reduced to one lane this week as MoDOT crews partially overlay the roadway.
This section of Route AP is between Route 181 in Douglas County and Route 14 in Howell County.
Work began today and continues Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.
The work zone is marked with signs and motorists are asked to use caution while traveling through this area.
MoDOT is also announcing the closure of Douglas County Route ZZ between County Roads ZZ-136 and ZZ-138 beginning on Monday, April 30th. This start date is being moved up a couple of weeks from the original projection in May.
Crews will be replacing the Fox Creek Bridge and the work will continue for most of the summer.
Motorists are asked to find an alternate route during construction.
