GALENA, Mo. – Preliminary hearings are scheduled for a man and a woman from the St. Louis area who allegedly rammed a patrol vehicle twice during a pursuit with Stone County Sheriff’s Deputies on March 11th.
Thirty-four-year-old Joshua Drennen and 45-year-old Shiela Graves remain incarcerated in Galena on 250-thousand dollars bond apiece. Both are scheduled to appear before Judge Alan Blankenship on May 15th.
Drennen is charged with two counts of assault on a special victim, armed criminal action and resisting arrest. Graves is charged with one count of assault and one count of resisting arrest.
The pursuit began near Galena and ended near Cape Fair, after deputies deployed spike strips and the suspect vehicle crashed just north of the intersection of Highways 76 and 173.
Drennen, who had multiple warrants out for his arrest, fled on foot before being apprehended by deputies.
No officers were injured in the chase, but the patrol vehicle that was rammed twice sustained heavy damage.
