SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A man from Seligman is sentenced to seven years in federal prison without parole for possession of meth with intent to distribute.
Barry County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 37-year-old Jeffery Stout on July 7th, 2016, after he led officers on a high-speed pursuit that ended with him losing control of his vehicle as he entered a chicken farm and drove through a field.
Officers recovered more than 24 grams of meth from Stout’s vehicle, along with cash, paraphernalia and a sparkler bomb device, according to prosecutors.
Stout has committed seven drug offenses since 2002, in Missouri and Arkansas, and also has a prior conviction for aggravated assault on a family member.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol and the ATF assisted in the investigation.
