The Branson School District hosts a Ribbon Cutting for one of their new Artificial Turf Facilities that will also be made available for use by the Branson Parks and Recreation Programs.
Branson Superintendent Dr. Brad Swofford says the idea to develop the open Green Spaces on both the Buchanan Intermediate and Cedar Ridge Elementary Campuses was due in part to the increased number of events being hosted by Branson Parks and Rec.
Branson Parks Director Cindy Shook says the collaboration of the School District and the Parks Department continues the cooperation the two organizations have had over the years.
The Branson School District contracted with ATG Turf to develop the facilities that will be used for the School’s Athletic Teams and Physical Education Classes as well as the Parks and other programs.
The Dedication Monday took place at the facility on the Cedar Ridge Campus that can be used for Baseball, Softball, Soccer, and other Recreational Activities.
