HOLLISTER, Mo. – A man from Kirbyville receives life-threatening injuries Wednesday night, in a two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in Taney County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 57-year-old Lewis Massie was traveling eastbound on Highway 76 at 10:42 p.m., when his motorcycle struck the rear of another eastbound vehicle being operated by 35-year-old Jill Hopkins of Kirbyville, who was slowing for a turn.
Massie was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield to be treated for his serious injuries.
