FORSYTH, Mo. – The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is well underway in Taney County, and there is still time to register.
Taney County Extension Program Director Willa Williams visited with county commissioners this week about the impact of the grant-funded program, which is one of the largest in the state.
She says during the first three VITA program days in January, volunteers contributed 600 hours, valued at 14-thousand dollars…
The VITA sites are located at the Extension Center in Forsyth, the OACAC office in downtown Branson, and the OTC Table Rock Campus in Hollister.
All appointments are made through the Extension Center by calling 417-546-4431.
Williams says they are booking up fast, with appointments currently being scheduled for late March.
