OZARK, Mo. – A man from Kirbyville is killed in a three vehicle crash Sunday morning, in Christian County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 42-year-old Matthew Mylenbusch was traveling northbound on Highway 65 in Ozark at 10:35 a.m., when his vehicle slid into the median and overturned. Mylenbusch was ejected from his vehicle as its rolled north and reentered the northbound lane of Highway 65.
The vehicle then struck two other northbound vehicles being driven by 42-year-old Jason Bain of Blue Springs and 22-year-old Zachary Sims of Highridge.
Mylenbusch was transported by Cox EMS to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, where he was pronounced dead by Dr. Jacob Baltz. Two passengers in Mylenbusch’s vehicle, 35-year-old Larry Treadwell of Branson and 35-year-old Mamie Wright of Merriam Woods, were also transported to Cox South to be treated for their respective minor injuries.
According to the online crash report Mylenbusch and Wright were not wearing their seatbelts. Troop D reports this accident as its 7th fatality crash for the month of February.
