HARRISON, Ark. – Ozark Opportunities announces its winter non-emergency home energy assistance program will begin on January 16th.
This program helps low-income households cope with the high cost of paying the bills that keep your home warm, according to its community services supervisor Blane Lawrence:
He says this is a one-time assistance payment that will be around until March 31 or until funding runs out. All applicants must provide proof of identifications and last months income for all members of your household You will also want to bring a copy of your bill. In order to qualify as a single person, your yearly income must be no greater than $19,140.
The income guidelines change with family size.
