BRANSON, Mo. – The City of Branson Tax Increment Finance Commission is postponing an open public hearing scheduled for this (Friday) evening.
According to a release from Communications Manager Melody Pettit, the commission will meet at 6 p.m. in council chambers at Branson City Hall, but plans to delay the Branson Adventures TIF Plan hearing until next month.
The meeting is being delayed to accommodate ongoing negotiations on the project, according to the release.
The proposed Branson Adventures development would include an indoor and outdoor water park along with cabins, campsites and conference facilities, located on just over 300 acres adjacent to Henning State Forest.
Pettit says the city will notify local media of the date and time of the rescheduled public hearing.
