HARRISON, Ark. – North Arkansas Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Management Services headquarters moves into its new location at 1000 North Main Street in Harrison.
According to a release from North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, 182 donors gave to the EMS Logistics Facility during the EMS ‘Every Minute Counts’ campaign, making it possible for all services-including dispatch- to officially move over to the new location on North Main Street in Harrison.
Kim Rosson, Director of the North Arkansas Medical Foundation says FedEx Freight and FedEx Services, in particular, are deserving of a special thank you due to its 250-thousand dollar donation to the Medical Foundation.
She says the more than 14-thousand square foot building is expected to receive between 20 and 30 calls a day for service.
Officials say nine of the 13 NARMC ambulances will now be stationed in Harrison. Rosson says an official grand opening ceremony for the building will be held in the near future.
