HIGHLANDVILLE, Mo. – A woman from Nixa is hurt in a collision involving four vehicles on Highway 160 at Two Rivers Road in Highlandville.
State troopers say a westbound pickup driven by 42-year-old Bryon Thompson of Highlandville was stopped in traffic to make a left turn at 5:50 p.m. Friday, when a westbound SUV driven by 34-year-old Kimberly Herrell of Nixa struck a boat trailer being towed by the pickup.
The boat left the trailer and collided with an eastbound car driven by 86-year-old Ethel Risner of Springfield. Debris from the boat also struck an eastbound SUV driven by 46-year-old Rebecca Winter of Nixa.
Herrell was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of moderate injuries.
