AVA, Mo. – UPDATE, 3:54 p.m. – According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, the missing teenager, Sherman Hall, has been located and is no longer missing.

AVA, Mo. – Authorities are looking for a missing teenager last seen at his home in eastern Douglas County Thursday morning, December 28th.

According to a news release from Sheriff Chris Degase, 16-year-old Sherman Ellis Hall left on foot from the area of V Highway and 95 Highway, and hasn’t been seen since.

The release says Hall may have been attempting to make it to Mountain Grove, and he does not have a cell phone.

Hall was last seen wearing a dark jacket over a Kansas City Chiefs coat, a red stocking hat, gold gloves, grey tennis shoes and black athletic pants with a red stripe down the side.

He is described as 5-feet 7-inches tall weighing about 212 pounds, clean shaven with short brown hair and brown eyes.

According to available information, the teenager has been known to make suicidal statements.

Anyone who sees Hall or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 417-683-1020.
