AURORA, Mo. – A teenager from Reeds Spring and a woman from Mount Vernon sustain moderate injuries in a crash just north of Aurora on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 38-year-old Jennifer Lampe from Mount Vernon was driving southbound on Highway 39 at 2:25 p.m.
Troopers say she was about four miles outside of Aurora when she crossed the roadway’s center line and hit a northbound vehicle driven by 38-year-old Matthias Amberg from Reeds Spring.
After the collision, both vehicles came to a rest on the east side of the roadway.
The report indicates Lampe sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
Amberg received minor injuries in the crash while a passenger in his vehicle, 17-year-old Daniel Amberg- also from Reeds Spring- suffered from moderate injuries. They were both taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
The report indicates the Ambergs were not wearing their seatbelts.
