Besides Branson’s win over Blue Eye at the Pink and White Lady Classic at Drury University on Wednesday, several other area teams continue play in Holiday Tournaments:

Blue and Gold
Reeds Spring dropped their winners bracket second round game at JQH Arena to Nixa as the Eagles pulled away in the second half to beat the Wolves 73-45. The Wolves will play against Hartville in a consolation Game today at 12:30 at Hammons Center. Branson and Hollister won consolation games at Hammons yesterday with the Pirates beating Ava 59-39 and the Tigers defeating host Greenwood 61-30. Branson plays this morning at 11:00 against Marshfield while Hollister takes on Hillcrest at 4:00. Crane also won yesterday beating Aurora 59-50 with Fair Grove eliminating Spokane 72-55.

Walnut Grove
Forsyth won its second round game over Fair Play 59-46 and will play Verona in the semi-finals Friday at 7:30. In Consolation Play, Hurley beat Fordland 97-92 and plays Sparta in the next round on Friday.
