BOLIVER, Mo. – A woman from Bolivar is facing a possible D.W. I charge following a crash near her hometown over the weekend.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 33-year-old Reva Thomas was traveling northbound on Route D about five miles north of her hometown at 11:20 p.m. on Saturday.
Authorities say she first ran off the right side of the roadway and the hit a rock bluff. The car then overturned back in the roadway, according to the online report.
Troopers say Thomas was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of serious injuries.
She is accused of driving while intoxicated, no insurance, failure to drive off the right half of the roadway resulting in an accident and no seatbelt, however, no formal charges have been filed.
