Hurley Man Seriously Injured, Cited for DWI in Crash

BRANSON, Mo. – A man from Hurley suffers life-threatening injuries in a single vehicle crash Sunday afternoon, in Taney County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 31-year-old Andrew Branstetter was traveling northbound on Highway 65 at Mile Marker 19.8 at 4:30 p.m., when his vehicle traveled off of the roadway and struck an embankment.

Branstetter was transported to Cox Medical Center Branson to be treated for his serious injuries.

According to the online crash and arrest reports, he is being charged for Driving While Intoxicated, Drug Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Maintain a Single Lane and Not Wearing a Seatbelt.
