Monett Gas Station Robbed; Suspect Remains at Large

MONETT, Mo. – The public is asked to be on the lookout for man wanted for robbing the Casey’s General Store and Gas Station Thursday night, in Monett.

The Monett Police Department reports at approximately 10:09 p.m., a male subject entered into the Casey’s at 1601 East Cleveland and demanded money. He then left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a while male, in his 30’s, six feet to six feet three inches tall, 250 to 280 pounds, with short dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a grey jacket, dark stocking cap with a bill and blue jeans.

The man left Casey’s in a dark colored small four wheel drive vehicle and headed south on 16th Street. A photo of the suspect was captured at the scene and is posted above.
